As an Associate Partner in L2 Consulting, Peter Heessels possesses a fusion of scientific leadership and credibility together with strong business development skills as exercised in the pharma, generic, biotech and contract research sectors of industry. A biochemist by training with an MBA and over 30 years in drug development, he is recognized for his expertise in guiding companies in drug development and his contributions to corporate growth. Possesses a strong grasp of the overall development process from manufacturing to pre-clinical thru Phase I-IV and always thinking of the most effective clinical and regulatory strategy to bring a drug to market in the shortest possible time. Numerous drug candidates have benefited from his strategic input as they progress to the market or to advanced stages of development. 

He is currently President of Kinesis Pharma Services, Inc., a Montreal-based consulting company, which supports emerging biotech companies and CROs on their corporate or business development activities. This includes, business plans, raising capital and/or finding clients/partners.  Most recently was Director Business Development for Parexel Biotech a global, full service CRO, promoting all services to the Canadian Biotech and North American Generic markets. Peter also had senior business development roles at Elite Research Institute a Phase I unit and was responsible for the generic segment at Cetero Research managing a team responsible for over $100M in sales to keep the largest Phase I company in the industry with 1900 beds at six sites full. Before Cetero he was Sr. Director Business Development at MDS Pharma Services for 13 years and for the last 4 years had managed client relations during a very challenging FDA compliance period for MDS all the while still managing to meet sales objectives.
